She never ceases to amaze me. This morning she drew a family of fairies on napkins:)

Annual Pool Party
Our apt had its annual pool party last night. We had great foods and lots of fun in the water. We also loved the photo booth. Daddy came home right after class to join us for the fun. We love having daddy home early :-)

Jade's first library card
If you can write your own name, you can get your own library card. So jade got her very first library card last week. Now she loves to go to the library even more. I love the Baltimore County public libraries. They are well maintained and very kid-friendly! They all have large kid playing areas and lots of activities to encourage kids to read. Jade and jack signed up for their summer reading club, and jade has already gotten one prize: a new Kanlan book to take home for free! It's awesome! She also loves checking out books with her own card, on her own!

"I'm not a girl!"
Jade went to church with daddy. Jack and mommy stayed home because jack just recovered from being sick. I tried to play some dress up game with him, and he protested hard! Haha why do I find it so funny? Look at those tears and that sad sad face! I love you, Jack!

Picnic at the Bamboo Forrest
We had so much fun with our joy school friends at the Cylburn Arboretum. So we decided to take daddy there for a picnic and show him the bamboo forrest.
It was so humid and hot after the rain, but we had so much fun!
Vivienne's Birthday
Jade was invited to her friend Vivienne's birthday pool party. She drew her a giraffe card because giraffe is Vivi's favorite animal. Jade's such a little talent when it comes to drawing. Then we made chocolate dipped sprinkle pretzels for gifts. On a different note. Jack learned to blow bubbles in his cereal bowl :-) And he gave himself a fat lip at the pool :-(
Wild Berry Picking
Jade and Jack discovered some wild berries behind our house. They look like raspberries, but they are bright and shiny red. I looked it up and it turned out they were called strawberry-raspberries and they are edible. They are native of some mountains in Japan. They are sweet and tart, quite yummy. We've been going there two days in a row. The kids would go everyday, but I really don't like the bug bites. Next time, I'll remember to bug spray everyone :-)
