We miss daddy!

Good news: Daddy's making more money this week than a usual month :-)
Bad news: Daddy has been gone for a week :-(

This is the longest we've been apart. It is not fun, I tell ya. Money doesn't even make it better. Jade doesn't know how to handle it so she's been super clingy. She also decided to sleep in till 9:30 this week. Maybe she won't miss daddy that much in her sleep. Good way to cope, jade.

Good news: Daddy's coming home TONIGHT!!! :-)
Bad news: He has to work again this weekend :-(
Good news: He's getting the whole week off next week!!!!!! :-)

Hee Haw Farm

We went to HeeHaw Farm with Mark and Callie (I promise I'll send you guys pictures tonight!!) and it is super fun!! We did everything fun over there. The highlight for jade is chasing three little pigs. She won us a pumpkin and come cotton candy :-)

Jade was nervous the whole time on the pony. I don't think she knows what to think about it. 

She was a pro on the John Deer though :-)

Jade patted a lot of animals. 

Of all the animals there, she loved the goats the most.

We finally had time to go to Ikea to get another bookcase. 

Now John's study looks a whole lot better!!

First Snow of the year+A failed attempt for family fall pictures

So we drove up Alpine loop to take some fall pictures. It was cold, snowy, but oh so gorgeous!!! We parked the car,  and jade and I went to the other side of the road to get pictures taken. Then jade started running toward daddy and the road had a little slope and jade fell on her face and started bleeding :-( It took a while for her to calm down and she's done with the pictures!! There goes our fall pictures 2011. See you next year. 

October is here!

Jade loves playing peek boo with mommy on the stairs! She also does this very cute thing. She would always backs into the stairs and sit on it :-)

Jade never falls asleep outside her crib, not on the couch, not on our big bed, not in the car, so it's a rare occasion when she fell asleep on the swing in daddy's arms.

Our neighbor's big cat is the most gentle cat ever. She tolerates Jade's brutal treatments :-) She would try to shake her by her tail or pinch her ears or poke her eyes... Jade would get bored and tells the cat byebye and walk away but the cat would faithfully follow her still :-)

They would knock on garage door together because they both want to see the newborn kittens.

It's a great blessing that we live so close to the mall. We were able to go play with the toys for free all the time :-)

Uncle Neil has been watching jade twice a week this semester while both mommy and daddy are at work and they've bonded really well :-)
