First Badge

Jade had her first official Girl Scouts meeting last night. She earned her first badge for learning the Girl Scout Promise :-) 

Sunday

It was not Jack's happiest Sunday. 

He was mad at daddy for the new hairdo, and then for putting a cute hat on him, and then for not letting him play in the dirt in his Sunday clothes :-( 

He looks so handsome though. 

Jade was happy, with a new dress and her favorite dolls. 

Daddy had to pump up three flat tires :-(

Yom Kippur-Jewish Day of Atonement

Since we live in a Jewish community, schools actually observe their holidays. It's been a beautiful morning. Jade's best friend Jiwon is moving to another city this weekend. So we decided to let them hang out all day. Jack and mommy had scooter races. We also had fun playing in leaves but got lots of mosquito bites. 

Girl Scouts-Daisy

One of our preschool op moms started a Girl Scouts troop and jade wanted to join. She had her first meeting last night. The moms had an info session and kids just played. They have five girls in their troop. They are going to have so much fun! 

On a different note, when she got off the bus today, she was so excited to show me the two candy she got with the 26 points she earned at school for being good :-)

Kyra is Jade's new friend that recently moved into the neighborhood. They had fun at her Monster High Birthday party.
