Late April

Auntie Megan left for China last week. I think Jade finally realized she's gone. She's acting up a lot lately.  I guess she just doesn't know how to deal with it. She's very fragile and throws a tantrum very easy. She's super clingy to mommy and doesn't want mommy to be out of her sight. She didn't want to stay in nursery today. Mommy had to stay there with her most of the time. Poor thing. Hopefully she can adjust better.

Jade is a PRO at her iPad. She can find and open apps. Here's how she finds new videos: she goes to her History and clicks on a video she's watched before, and clicks on other related videos. She's found many of her favorites this way. Her latest favorite is a Hello Kitty version of Cinderella :-) 

She watches it over and over again. 

Jade has an interesting new night routine: We read and pray and look at pictures and videos on my phone; she walks over to the night light in a corner of her room and stand there until I go pick her up; we sit down on the chair and she breaks away to go lie down in front of the door; I pick her up again and put her in her crib; I sing her a song and leave her happy in her crib; I come back 20min later to find her fast asleep without a diaper. Thank goodness she doesn't pee her bed any more.

 Jade still loves playing in the car. She also loves driving the car. 

This is the Sunday before auntie Megan went back to China for a month. I've always appreciate it her help with jade. Now that she's gone, I REALLY appreciate her being here :-)

So Jade and daddy got into a minor car accident one evening. Some girl ran into daddy's truck at a traffic light. So we've been going to the chiropractor frequently. Jade quickly learned the word massage in Chinese, an mo. And she want a an mo all the time. 

 

Our ward had a big activity called "Trip Around the World". Mommy got to present on China and make orange chicken. There were 3 big pans of chicken and food from other county. It was a fun day! Too bad daddy was at work the whole time.

Jade discovered her jumper in the closet, and she's having so much fun with it!

 

We had new neighbors moving in from Hawaii. They have two girls who love jade and jade loves playing with them too, especially their doll.

A few things about jade

She is cute with pony tails but she can't handle it for longer than 2 minutes.

She loves playing with water, especially with her clothes off.

She cleaned her shoes AND feet with a shoe brush :-)

She loves sitting on the counter, cooking together with mommy.

She also loves cookie dough. Like Father, like daughter.

She's obsessed with playing in the car. She always wants to stay in the car and play after we came back from a ride. She can play in there for an hour or longer if you let her.

She's super cute with hats, but she can only keep it on for 2 seconds.

She loves playing with Megan, at the mall or at home.

She loves jumping on Megan's bed.

She loves sitting on daddy's shoulder and feeling tall.

She loves her iPad and is very good at operating it. 

She has a hard time saying night night to it.

She even plays it in the car sometimes.

She loves helping mommy make dumplings and eating them :-)

Easter Sunday

Today in nursery, Jade made a cute little lamb with the help of her teachers. She also got some Easter eggs.  

Jade's favorite activity in church is to play the piano in RS while mommy sets up the room.
