Jack is two months!

Basically jack is a very tall baby with a tiny head: 95% on his length and 22% on his head size. His weight is right in the middle, 55% I think. He's doing well.

Jade, on the other hand, has been struggling little bit. She had night terrors for a couple nights and it was not fun. We finally figured stress, change of routine, and lack of sleep are the causes. So we put potty training on hold, regulated her routine, and put bed time an hour early. It seems to be working. She didn't have any night terror last night. Hopefully it continues. Poor baby girl. Too much changes in her life with the new baby.

While grandma's here...

Grandma came to visit for a week. Jade had fun playing with grandma and tinker bell. Daddy was able to focus and get an A on his first final back in school. Mommy's first week of work also went well. We wish grandma lived closer! So while grandma is here...

Jade got a castle :-)

Jack continues to love baths.

Jade had so much fun with Tinkerbell.

we had some nice weather, so we were able to play outside a lot.

jade walked the dog everyday.

Jade tried to force Tink to go on the slide, but Tink didn't want to.

They watched TV together.

Daddy kick started our grill season by making some delicious turkey burgers.

daddy tried to potty tain jade, but the effort was in vein. She still won't poop in the toilet.

Mommy Daughter Time

I need more one on one time with jade. I miss when there's just her and me. With jack having to eat every three hours, it's hard to find big hunks of time with just jade. But I'll try harder to do better. I love jade. Here are some mommy jade times.

We went to the mall to pick up mommy's contacts and ate some yummy ice cream. Jade picked green tea and strawberry flavors.
We went to the playground at Mcdonald's. Jade loved climbing into Mr. M's laps.

and wipe off his nose because he's got ketchup on his nose :-)

Jade learned to draw circles and triangles one day.

Jade loves to swing and show mommy how her hair is like Repunzel's.

Tricks on the swing.

Fun on top of the slide.

Guinea Pig Fun

Our neighbor girls have a couple guinea pigs.
Jade loves playing with them.
Someday we'll get her a pet, but not now.
Can summer hurry up and be here already?!
She has so much fun playing outside with her friends.

Princess Jade

Jade has been obsessed with princesses.
She has watched all the Disney princess movies.
Her favorite is Sleeping Beauty.
She has a blue poka dot blanket that was supposed to be her prince.
(The sleeping beauty dances with Philip's cloak.)
She would dance with her prince all the time.
Daddy got her a princess app on the iPad, and dresses her up in different princess costumes.
One day, she demanded to be dressed up just like a princess,
and all I could find was a tiara.
She was ok with it.
Time to get some princess accessories.
And I may have an idea of what her 3rd birthday party theme will be.

Big Girl Jade

Here's a few things that make jade a big girl now.

1. She's half potty-trained. She would pee, but not poop on the potty.

2. She learned to do buttons. So now she's doing everyone's buttons.

3. She's almost tall enough to get on the swing by herself.

4. She's slowly turning her nap time into quiet time.

5. She can take her own temperature :-)

6. She takes good care of Sarah, her baby doll.

Even though she still needs to work on her patience :-)

7. She's determined to be a pianist.

8. She eats like a big girl now. Her favorite lunch for now is hot rice+cheese+veggies of her choice.
