It was another super awesome Halloween we had in Baltimore! Jack insisted on wearing his Superman costume from last year; Jade had wanted to be a superstar since her birthday! She did change her mind a couple of times and wore different things for the many fun activities we did: Kailan for book character day at school and ward trunk-or-treat, vampire for community trunk-or-treat and the actual trick-or-treat. I think we had too much candy by the end of it. But I'm glad kids had so much fun!

Weber's Farm
Jack and I went to a local farm with our friends while daddy's sleeping at home for his night shift and Jade's on a field trip to the aquarium. We had a blast. Jack couldn't decide which is his favorite, the train ride, the tire mountain, the hayride, the Boo Barn, the sand box, the giant slide, the maze, or the apple cider and donut. We are going back again tomorrow with jade since school will be out.

Fall Fun at Irvine
We went to Irvine for Friday Story time, only to find story time was cancelled. They were preparing for a fancy Fall party. So Jack and I had fun playing in all the fall festivity! Jack rescued a cricket from the sandbox and didn't want to let it go. We caught a giant praying mantis to take home to show jade. It's her favorite bug :-)
Irvine has become our favorite outdoor adventure go-to place: exploring the woods, fun fall activities, nature center, everything!

Annie's Playground
We finally made it to Annie's Playground in Maryland. This amazing playground is built by community volunteers in memory of a 6-year-old little girl who were killed in a car accident. In a crazy world like this it's so good to be reminded of the goodness in people.
Kids loved it. I love how Jade and Jack held hands exploring the playground when we first got there. At one point, jade lost Jack briefly and it was a terrifying minute. But all was well. We'll have to go back again soon!
