October coming to an End

Rainy Day

Jack loves playing in the car.

Jade took these pictures for us. She's not a bad photographer for a 4-year old.

I wish they didn't love me so much to want to be with me everywhere and all the time.

A very late night.  No one's even tired.

Jack's favorite toy in the whole world: daddy's little screwdrivers.

Happy Birthday to Mommy from Daddy! My kitchen is now complete.

So cute!

I love having a girly girl!
At the library with her best friend.
New PJs for handsome Jack.

Getting Cold

It's getting too cold to play outside. But kids get crazy if they stay inside for too long. So sometimes we still bundle up to brave the wind and cold. Lately Jade and her friends like to ride their scooters in the tennis court of our complex. They also enjoy chalk art. If you pay attention, you would notice Jade never wears jeans. She is very picky about her pants. She considers jeans and solid color pants "ugly". One day I put on her a pair of nice fleece green pants, and she sat on the floor crying refusing to go out because they are "not pretty". We ended up having to give her a different pair. So we stopped buying her regular blue jeans :-) Jack is at an age when he still doesn't care what he wears. He often wears Jade's old gym pants and seems to be very happy :-)

Sweet Jack

Jack could be very sweet. He still doesn't speak much, but he's understanding so much more. He also learns very fast from everyone around him. He loves giving Jade hugs when she's upset. He loves snuggling with mommy, a lot. I love him so much!

Sick Jack

Poor Jack seems to be sick all the time!  This Saturday he woke up looking like this:

He's not quite as cute as he usually is! As soon as Daddy saw him he made the first correct medical diagnosis of his career: Impetigo. We spent a big chunk of our Saturday at the Patient First clinic getting some antibiotic ointment.

Daddy's first No Shave November

Daddy is in the Men in Nursing club at school and was put in charge of organizing the No Shave November campaign. The purpose is to raise money and awareness of men's health issues such as prostate and testicular cancer as well as mental health issues. Since Daddy is in charge he has to participate :)
Daddy's clean shaven face on Nov 2nd :)
