Some Indoor Fun

Some fun activities we've been doing for indoor play time: 

dress ups, the baking soda and food coloring, crafts, ballet, play dates, cooking...

Staying home could be fun :-)

Jade the Artist and Writer

Jade started to be very interested in drawing and writing. And she's really good at both. 

She loves drawing portraits and have us guess who. She also loves writing people letters and putting them in the mailbox. So far she's written letters to everyone she loves, including the Tooth Fairy :-) 

 She was supposed to draw daddy on the calendar to remind us of Father's Day. She showed me her drawing and told me her daddy's a LION :-)

Exploring the Neighborhood

Jade was supposed to get dressed to go play outside. She came over and told me mommy look, I'm a flower! 

A deer came to the backyard one morning. The kids had so much fun watching it from the porch!

Jade loves picking flowers from this tree on the playground and pretend to make flower salad.

Jade thinks this tree can talk to her if she tries gets to know it better and became friends. So everyday she'd stop by on the way to the playground and talk to the tree so "they could become friends faster"!

We went to a goodbye party for the Poseys at Meadow Wood park. It was fun!
