Happy Valentine's Day 2015

Valentine's Day is not my kind of holiday. I'm not a romantic person and didn't grow up celebrating it, so I'm totally fine not to celebrate it. But I'm realizing it's kind of a big deal for kids. So we did some fun things for preschool, which happened to be at my house. Daddy made Belgian waffles for a late lunch. Mommy made a brownie for dessert. That's as much Valentine as I can handle :-) 

Kids' New Hobbies

Jade's new hobby is to put on make-ups for herself and other people, i.e. mommy and Jack. She's been watching some Youtube princess makeup tutorials and decided to be a makeup artist. She's actually pretty good, haha :-) 

Jack, on the other hand, has been refusing to put on any clothes at home, including his diapers. I'm not ready to potty train him, and I don't think he's ready himself. He's peed and pooed on the floor a few times. Even though I watch him closely, there can always be accidents. Sigh... He's so different from Jade.

Snow Days

We've had two or three snow days this year, and we're expecting a big one coming in tonight. Fingers crossed it's a snow day so daddy doesn't have to go to school :-)
