See any resemblance?
September has come and gone like a swirl wind. Time goes by fast when you are having fun! We will sure miss the nice weather and fun outdoors! Jade is just getting cuter and cuter by day. She picks up new things everyday and surprises us with her intelligence.
She understands a lot of what we say now, in both Chinese and English, more Chinese than English. Here's some of the things she understands:
Go get your socks and shoes;
Get me another sock;
Let's go outside;
Wash your hands;
Let's swing;
Daddy/mommy's home;
Are you hungry?
Don't!!
No no!
Good job!
Let's read a book;
Give that to mommy/daddy/auntie/uncle;
Go upstairs;
Let's eat;
All done;
Let's go change your diaper;
Here comes a car;
Watch Qiaohu (the Chinese show);
That's trash.
Throw it away.
Don't climb on the table.
I'm sure we forgot some.
We think she's smart :-)
Jade loves making faces in church.
Our last BBQ this summer. See you next year :-)
Our new neighbor has three little girls. Jade loves playing with them and riding their bike :-)
I don't think daddy can wait too long before he buys her her own bike :-)
Jade and mommy always go out on walks in the morning. She loves following the little birds, or kitties, or dogs!
Jade usually gets hysterical in her bath because it's close to her bedtime.
Cute sleeping angel.
When jade wakes up before 8am and mommy and daddy need time to wake up, she gets the privilege of watching her Chinese show in our bed on her own portable DVD player.
We love going to Dillard's and play in the kid section :-)
Daddy got jade a new toy to train her to be focused and learn cause-effect. Unfortunately, she's not quite getting it yet.
Love breakfast time together!
She just blends in on BYU campus!!
Our humming birds are gone. See you next summer!
Daddy loves swinging with jade because it's the only time she'll cuddle :-)
Jade was crazy happy in this picture, just FYI!
Crazy hairdo after a nap.
Romantic walk in the rain :-)
Daddy is good making Hamburger Helper :-) Really, better than mommy!
Jade loves reading! She would always find time during the day, go into her room, climb on her chair, and read herself some little stories, out loud. It's the cutest thing ever!!
