You probably don't know, but John has a crazy family, not the people, but the relationship is crazy. The guy in this picture is John's brother Ed Carr. He looks more like his dad. That's because he's 40 years older than John. John was born when his dad was 60 something. They haven't seen each other since John was 4 I think? All of John's family on his dad's side are still in North Carolina. And I don't think they keep in good touch. Crazy. We were so glad Ed contacted us and met us at the SLC airport on his business trip. He brought John some family history and a lot of pictures of the family members in NC. It was fun to catch up.
How do you keep a relationship like that with your family? Blows my mind :-)
Jade continues to have fun with daddy in the sun.
She's still a good eater, as you can tell.
She learned to give people hugs and it is just the sweetest thing!
She loves her pool and loves eating outside next to her pool :-) Like her spinach mustache?
Megan bought her bubbles. She loves poking at them when taking her bath.
Megan made Zongzi (sticky rice wrapped up in bamboo leaves and then steamed.) It's a traditional food we eat on Dragon Boat Festival.
We planted our garden. 4 tomato plants and one cucumber.
Don't have many pictures of sad Jade, mostly because she's always happy. In this set, she was trying to get me to read her more books :-)
Jade loves playing with the roses in our backyard. I taught her to smell it and she has the most fun out of it! So cute.
We go to the Farmer's market on Saturdays sometimes.
Future pianist?!
We love playing in Hayley's yard. So spacious and fun!
June has been fun! We love our life.
