Nursing Degree Graduation

Me: Hey Jade do you know what I am now after graduation today?

Jade: No.

Me: I'm a nurse, do you know what a nurse is?

Jade: Ya I know! The Nurse tells the doctor what do to.

I received my bachelor's of nursing today. Which is huge. Nursing school is not easy, and I could find find a job that would begin a great career and pay well. But I'm not doing that. 

That's why what I feel like I did today was finish my last prerequisite. About a month from now I'll be nose deep in books, once again.  Starting my final full-time degree program. And about 21 months from now I'll be graduating for realz.

Good job, daddy! We're so proud of you. One year down, two more to go!

Jack had his first ring popsicle. 

Jade reunited with Sage and decided she wanted to be best friend with her. 

Naomi hand-made all kids crowns.

Kilgore Fall

We took a long drive and a short hike to a nice waterfall today. While we were hanging out a young boy fell at the top of the waterfall and sliced his leg wide open. I didn't expect to be using my emergency room skills on my day off. But it felt good to know how to help him. I stayed with him and his mom till a dozen EMTs showed up to carry him out.  ‪#‎nursesareeverywhere
