We took a long drive and a short hike to a nice waterfall today. While we were hanging out a young boy fell at the top of the waterfall and sliced his leg wide open. I didn't expect to be using my emergency room skills on my day off. But it felt good to know how to help him. I stayed with him and his mom till a dozen EMTs showed up to carry him out. #nursesareeverywhere
