A typical April day in the Carr family

Jade's been gong to bed before 8pm for a few weeks now; John's working the swing shift for a couple months; and I am left with all this free time in the evening :-) Now I can clean, relax, cook, blog, sort out my pictures, talk to family and friends, watch TV, watch drama, and even take a nap :-) It's nice.

John's been crazy about biking lately ever since he got his cool mountain bike. He's been biking with Mark and Dave regularly back and forth the canyons. In fact he's riding with Dave tomorrow morning at 8. Now considering how much John hates getting up before...let's say 10, this shows dedication :-) It's awesome that he LOVEs it, not awesome that he's spending more money than I'd like him to getting all these accessories :-(

This is what he looked like when he came back from the canyons up in Sandy with Mark.

Jade and mommy go to the mall for walks often. And  we enjoy window shopping and taking pictures.
Aren't those shoes yummy? :-) Too bad I have to stand for work. They would make great corporal punishment tools if we were in China :-)

Mommy enjoys making new foods for daddy and Jade. These are the sweet potato pancakes mommy made for Naisi before she left for Shanghai.
Jade loves bananas, squash, apples,  pears and sweet potatoes. Not too fond on peas.

We've been enjoying crepes, (recipe courtesy of Alton Brown) because sister Harding taught me how to make yummy strawberry jam.

One of the cute things jade does is dancing to the music on our phones. Whenever we turn the music on, she would get super excited, shake her little body and wave her hands. It's the cutest thing EVER!
